Description

Background
One of the hardest hit cities, the COVID-19 pandemic profoundly impacted New York City. As of January 30th, 2023, the city has reported over 1.9 million confirmed cases and over 36,000 deaths. Yet, despite the challenges, New Yorkers have shown remarkable resilience and have come together to support one another through the crisis.

Idea
A campaign that brings a unique look to the scars left by the pandemic in New York. Through a photographer's lens, it is possible to see the strength of the city that survived and moved forward, alive but never forgot and will not forget the people who were left behind. Religious diversity is also a central point in the play, and together with a brief yet elegant text, it invites the viewer to reflect on the time that has passed.
